KCG Architect is proud to have provided Architectural services to UNIQLO for their special store at the Shops at Hudson Yards in New York.
Hudson Yards, located on the far west side of Manhattan at the northern terminus of the High Line, is the largest mixed-use private development in the United States. At its center is the Shops at Hudson Yards, a one million square foot retail center that opened on March 15, 2019. UNIQLO occupies a prominent corner location on the second floor of the Shops at Hudson Yards, with a memorable show window and a unique expansive open storefront. A runway leads from the storefront corner to a central display stage and overhead signature circular ticker element. For the grand opening celebration, UNIQLO featured live Taiko Drum performances, as well as hot tea and Mochi snacks
