KCG Architect provided professional services to Rudsak for their new US flagship store at Hudson Yards, New York, their first location outside of Canada. The 1,996 square foot store is located at a prominent location on the first floor’s Luxury Plaza, near the entrance from Tenth Avenue. The interior features a sleek combination of natural materials, including a wood slat ceiling, custom ebonized wood slat wall panels, stone floor and wall marble finishes with brass trim accents. The storefront display window features an exposed structural column reminiscent of the nearby High Line structure. A custom brass metal light box wall, interactive displays and mirrors located throughout. For the grand opening event of the Hudson Yards, Rudsak commissioned artist Juno Shen to create a neon sculpture featured in the storefront with ice sculpture elements encapsulating Rudsak jackets and handbags.
